Nice, is maya easier than 3dmax for creating grass fields? because i had a really unplesant time when i had to create something like your work on max

In this case the grass was created with “;Paint Effects”, one of the tools of Maya, which facilitates very much the creation. It is necessary to change enough values. And another good thig is that the animation of the grass growing or moving is easy to do.

If this tool would not exist, I´m not sure if I would model the grass or would create it with particles.

Certainly it is possible to take the grass to Max one created in Maya, though a friend found a plugin for Max that is not so complex as Maya Paint Effects but does a good job. Later I´m going to ask for the link.

I asked to my friend(who knows more about Max than me) and He said that He would create the grass with particles, with pArray more specifically.

Though I think that it doesn´t have grass, here you have a link of some plugins that maybe are useful.
